Materials & preparation
- One printed learner copy; keep the answer view separate when provided

- Complete one example slowly and name each action before the learner starts. Then use this learner direction: Trace each word, then write it on your own. Ask what happens before, during, and after one familiar routine.
- Support
- Work side by side, offer two choices at a time, and accept pointing or an oral answer before writing.

- If attention is steady, ask for one more example and a simple reason. Compare two valid examples and explain one meaningful similarity or difference.
